Derek didn't find my humor about this "21st birthday" very funny since we are both in awe of how quickly she is growing up. Believe me, I am NOT wishing her youth away. She is at such a fun age!
Even still, I couldn't help but note her "landmark" birthday with a few photos. Beyond that it was just a normal day: dressing up in mommy's shoes (she picked hiking boots today), perfecting her ability to climb on mom and dad's bed, story time at the library, errands with mom and dad and dinner and family time this evening.
One thing is certain, neither Derek, nor I can get enough of this little one.
