Lydia's friend Amy turned 5 last week and even though there is quite an age gap between them Lydia seems to think they are best pals so it was really sweet of my friend Sunnie, Amy's mom, to include her in the party.
Lydia was the youngest one there so even though it was a "big girl party" and the other kids' moms dropped them off for the 90-minute celebration, I stuck around to help out.
They all seemed to have a wonderful time noshing on chicken nuggets and ice cream and climbing all over the McDonald's play land. It was really cute watching Lydia trying to keep up with the big girls.
Doesn't she just look ecstatic to be included in this group?
