When it came time for the actual holiday we packed up everything (I forgot how much stuff newborns have to take!) and headed to Cedar City for Christmas with my family.
With all that has to be packed for a family of 4 to spend Christmas elsewhere, it is not surprising that we forgot something... but did it have to be the gifts from Santa? Fortunately, Derek is one of Santa's best little helpers and he was able to drive back to St. George and retrieve them. Move over Rudolf, Derek just saved Christmas this time!
