My Amazing Wife!

Hello there, I feel like I need to introduce myself since this is the first time I have posted to this blog; I'm Derek, Lisa's husband. One of the main reasons you have never seen any of my blogs here is because I didn't know the login information. Lisa set this account up and I didn't have access. Maybe that was her plan, but I have foiled it. Since I couldn't login here, I set up my own account and have since been added to "okay to publish" list for this one.

Now that the introduction is out of the way, I had better get on with my original post or else you'll all get tired of reading and think that I am a crazy man (which is partially true) and start avoiding this amazing blog my wife (usually) runs.

As most of you know, Lisa is a reporter and assistant editor of the Features section of The Spectrum. She has recently started a weekly blog, entitled "Memoirs of a First Time Mother" that posts every Thursday. Her first post started last week (January 7, 2010) and she did an amazing job. She just finished a story about Adoption and some for the creative ways people are trying to find birth-mothers. She spotlighted our good friends Nick & Paige (their button is on the top right side of this blog) and some of the cool things they are doing or have done. Click here for the story.
